New Parliament Building.
Capacity of the New Parliament Building, according to the Lock Sabha Secretariat:
- Lok Sabha chamber can accommodate 888 members.
- Rajya Sabha chamber can accommodate 300 members.
- A total of 1280 members can be accommodated in the Lok Sabha chamber.
- The foundation stone of the new Parliament building was laid on December 10, 2020, by the prime minister.
