Bareilly suspended internet services, including mobile data and broadband, from October 2 to October 4, fearing unrest during Friday prayers. This precaution follows last week’s clashes over an ‘I Love Muhammad’ procession, which led to over 80 arrests, including prominent cleric Tauqeer Raza Khan. Security remains heavily deployed across the division.
